fireworks

we went to see fireworks last night.  the show wasn't as long as last year's, but was still very good.  

birthday weekend

joe and i celebrated our birthdays this weekend.  

a day at the beach

we went to eagle lake today.  it was nice, quiet, and beautiful.  we both got sunburned.

tyler's prom

tyler went to prom with his girlfriend, gabby, today. unfortunately, it was raining, so we didn't get to do outdoor shots. thank goodness i have my backdrops and was able to at least get some indoor photos. they looked great.

rachel's first communion

rachel had her first communion on mother's day. she looked beautiful, of course.

new locations

i wandered around downtown a few weeks ago and found some great places to shoot. it was one of the first warm days of the year, and the sun was in a horrible spot for getting a lot of great photos, but here's one i was able to salvage.

the day before easter, bryan's nieces had an easter egg hunt.

i decided i needed a new photo for facebook. with some help from my camera's timer and my tripod, here it is.

it's cold outside

i haven't been taking a lot of pictures since the weather turned. i really don't like the cold, so i stay inside as much as possible. unfortunately, most of the photography i enjoy is done outdoors. i've don't a few indoor sessions here and there in the mean time. thank goodness, it's finally starting to warm up. i'll be outside again and shooting as soon as i can stand it!
